Quickstart
Go from a new workspace to your first signed-in user. Each step happens in the dashboard and takes a few minutes.
Set up your workspace
- Sign in to the dashboard
Open the dashboard and sign in with the email and password you were given. If you were invited, use the link in your invitation email to choose your password first.
- Protect your own accountIn the dashboardAccount & Security›Two-factor authentication
Add an authenticator app before anything else. Admin accounts are the most valuable accounts in your workspace. See Two-factor authentication.
- Brand the sign-in pageIn the dashboardBranding
Add your product name, logo and accent color so your users recognise where they are signing in. See Branding.
- Invite your teamIn the dashboardUsers & Identities›Invite user
Enter a teammate's email and pick a role: admin for people who manage settings, viewer for people who only need to look. They get an email and choose their own password. See Users and invitations.
Connect your product
- Register your applicationIn the dashboardApplications›Create application
Give it a name and the URL your app should return to after sign-in, for example
https://app.example.com/callback. Copy the client secret when it appears; it is shown once. - Create a secret API key for your backendIn the dashboardAPI Keys›Generate API key
Choose Secret key and store it in your server's secret manager.
- Create your first user
From your backend, create a user with the API. You can also do this from the dashboard under Users & Identities.
